Abstract: 

In this research, the removal of malachite green dye from Textile Wastewaters using polyaniline coated onto sawdust (P Ani/SD) has been investigated. Ammonium peroxodisulphate was used as chemical oxidant for polymerization of polyaniline directly on the surface of sawdust. The effects of some important parameters such as pH, initial concentration, sorbent dosage, exposure time and temperature on uptake of malachite green dye were investigated. Adsorption studies have shown that pH of the malachite green solution has influence on the dye removal capacity of PAni/SD. It was found that effective dye removal is occurred under neutral or acidic conditions. The treatments of data were carried out using both Freundlich and Langmuir adsorption isotherms.

Abstract: 

Introduction: The initial spark of NANOtechnology goes about half century. There is a lot of space in the low levels. Molecules and atoms are subject to change and new behaviors are expected of them. NANO polymers and NANO COMPOSITEs are a part of NANO materials. They are especially important because many applications have. Conductive polymers such as polyaniline have interesting properties, conductivity, optically and electro activity. Numerous applications of this NANO polymers and its COMPOSITEs can be visitor including electronics, sensors, protections of electrodes, absorption and transfer of heavy metals and removal of organic dye from solutions. Polyaniline protonated state has a good conductivity, but poor mechanical properties. The production of COMPOSITE by polyaniline and polyamide polymers such as insulation, and using the common solvent can be added to its mechanical properties.Aim: Synthesis of polyaniline and NANO conductive polymer COMPOSITE with the insulating polymer to increase mechanical properties, and study of electrical properties, thermal of Pan/Ny66.Materials and Methods: At this stage, polyaniline synthesis by oxidation with ammonium persoulfate. The electrical properties of Pan/Ny66 NANO COMPOSITE were analyzed by 4-point probe technique. UV-Vis Spectroscopy was used for thermal stability study. The tensile strength test was used to evaluate the mechanical and stability properties. Surface morphology changes were evaluated by scanning electron micrograph (SEM) before and after the production of COMPOSITE.Results: Polyaniline procces due to poor mechanical properties and low strength of its disadvantages is considered. There is no study thermal stability and electrical conductivity under such conditions. Using formic acid as a common solvent for polyaniline and nylon66, Pan/Ny66 will provide by casting method.1 to 2 ratio of polyaniline to nylon66, is sealed. The thermal stability is high by COMPOSITE production. Electrical conductivity increases in the Pan/Ny66 COMPOSITE.Conclusion: Casting method is used for the preparation of NANO COMPOSITE films. Using this method, increased on mechanical properties, thermal stability and electrical conductivity.

Abstract: 

In this research, magnetostriction and thermal expansion of polymer-bonded Nd4Fe77.5B18.5 NANO-COMPOSITEs are studied using strain gage method. The effect of sintering on samples is also studied. X-ray diffraction patterns and SEM pictures of the original and annealed samples show that the grain size of α-Fe and Fe3B soft magnetic phases in amorphous matrix increases and mechanical hardness of the samples improves after annealing at 700 °C for 20 min.. Overall behavior of the thermal expansion is similar for samples in both cases, with about 20% larger coefficient for the annealed one. The magnetostriction measurements show huge magnitudes in order of 10-4 at the presence of relatively weak external magnetic fields. The magnitude of magnetostriction noticeably decreases after annealing which can originate from two different sources. Magnetostriction of the original sample mainly originates from single particle interactions of Nd-sublattice in Nd2Fe14B phase, but the situation is very different for the annealed sample. The complicate variations of the magnetostrictive isotherms of the annealed sample are discussed based on the following three factors: internal stresses, magnetocrystalline anisotropy and mechanisms of coercivity.

STARCH IS DISTINGUISHED FOR ITS EXCELLENT BIOCOMPATIBILITY AND CONTROLLABLE BIODEGRADABILITY AND HAVE NEW USES IN SPECIALIZED TECHNICAL AREAS. HOWEVER, DESPITE OF WIDESPREAD USE IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY, THE USE OF STARCH FILMS FOR FOOD PACKAGING HAS BEEN STRONGLY LIMITED BECAUSE OF THE POOR BARRIER PROPERTIES AND WEAK MECHANICAL STRENGTH [1]. STARCH/STARCH NANO CRYSTAL (SNC) BIO HYBRID NANO COMPOSITE FILMS WERE PREPARED WITH SNC AND STARCH AQUEOUS SOLUTION [2]. IN THIS WORK, WE INCORPORATED SNC, WHICH WERE ACIDIC HYDROLYZED FROM POTATO STARCH GRANULES, INTO WATERBORNE STARCH SOLUTION IN DIFFERENT AMOUNT OF SNC. SNC SIZE WAS ABOUT 75±10 NM THAT DETERMINED BY USING DYNAMIC LIGHT SCATTERING (DLS). X-RAY DIFFRACTION PATTERNS SUGGESTED THAT EXFOLIATED NANO COMPOSITE COULD BE ACHIEVED. FURTHERMORE, THE TENSILE STRENGTH AND YOUNG’S MODULUS WERE IMPROVED NOTABLY, WHICH INCREASING SNC CONTENT. THE COMPLEXATION OF STARCH WITH SNC WAS CONFIRMED BY DIFFERENTIAL SCANNING CALORIMETRY IN WHICH A SECOND GLASS TRANSITION WAS DETECTED AT HIGHER TEMPERATURES. BASED ON THE OBTAINED RESULTS, IT CAN BE INFERRED THAT THE STARCH BASED BIO HYBRID FILMS ARE POTENTIAL MATERIALS TO BE USED IN FOOD PACKAGING TECHNOLOGY [3].

Abstract: 

The aim of this research is to determine the proper concentration of Titanium Tetra IsoPropoxide (TTIP) and select the right temperature and time of calcinations for the synthesis of B4C-NANO TiB2 COMPOSITE NANO powder by the chemical precipitation method. For this purpose, first, solutions with TTIP molar concentrations of 0.1, 0.05 and 0.03 were prepared and the optimal molar concentration of TTIP was determined to be 0.05. Then, a diluted solution of distilled water and TTIP was mixed with Isopropanol Alcohol containing B4C micro powder. In this mixture, Titanium Hydroxide NANOparticles were initially synthesized and then, to convert the Ti (OH) 4 to TiB2, the above mixture were calcined in a furnace, under Argon atmosphere. The calcination process was carried out at temperatures of 750, 1000 and 1250 ºC. It was observed that the most suitable temperature for the formation of the TiB2 phase is 1250 ºC and that the lower temperatures only lead to the formation of the TiO2 phase. It was also observed that, at the calcination temperature of 1250 ºC, the most appropriate time duration for the conversion of Ti (OH) 4 NANOparticles to TiB2 NANOparticles is 30 minutes, during which B4C-NANO TiB2 COMPOSITE NANO powders form, with most of the TiB2 particle sizes being in the range of 30-60 nm.

BACKGROUND: ELECTRO SPINNING HAS GAINED POPULARITY IN THE LAST 10 YEARS DUE PRODUCTION OF POLYMER FIBERS WITH DIAMETERS VARYING FROM 3 NM TO GREATER THAN 5MM WITH CONSIDERABLE INTEREST FOR VARIOUS KIND OF APPLICATION. THE MICRON RANGE SPUN FIBERS PRODUCED BY THIS PROCESS, OFFER VARIOUS ADVANTAGES LIKE HIGH SURFACE AREA TO VOLUME RATIO, TUNABLE POROSITY AND THE ABILITY TO INCORPORATE NANOPARTICLES ON NANO-FIBER IN ORDER TO GET DESIRED PROPERTIES AND FUNCTION [1]. DESULFURIZATION IS A PROCESS WIDELY USED TO REMOVE SULFUR FROM NATURAL GAS AND FROM REFINED PETROLEUM PRODUCTS SUCH AS GASOLINE OR PETROL, PURPOSE OF REMOVING THE SULFUR IS TO REDUCE THE SULFUR OXIDE EMISSIONS THAT RESULT FROM USING THOSE FUELS. VARIOUS ADSORBENTS INVESTIGATED AND NI‐BASED NANO-COMPOSITES GAVE BETTER PERFORMANCE IN THE REMOVAL OF THIOPHENIC SULFUR COMPOUNDS SUCH AS DIBENZOTHIOPHENE (DBT) FROM LIQUID FUELS [2].METHODS: NICKEL-METAL NANOPARTICLES WERE PREPARED BY THE REDUCTION OF NI (NO3)2. 6 H2O WITH HYDRAZINE HYDRATE IN ETHYLENE GLYCOL. NI- POLYVINYLALCHOL NANO-COMPOSITE WAS PREPARED BY ELECTROSPINNING OF AQUEOUS SOLUTION OF AND NI NANOPARTICLES AT 22KV VOLTAGE.RESULTS: DIFFERENT PARAMETER SUCH AS TIME, VOLTAGE, PVA AND NI NANOPARTICLES WERE OPTIMIZED. XRD WAS USED FOR PHASE CHARACTERIZATION AND SEM WAS USED FOR SIZE AND MORPHOLOGY CHARACTERIZATION OF NI/ PVA NANO-COMPOSITE. AFTER CHARACTERIZATION, THE NI/ PVA NANO-COMPOSITE WAS USED AS SORBENT FOR ADSORPTION AND REMOVAL OF BDT IN THE DICHLOROBENZENE SOLUTION. NI/ PVA NANO-COMPOSITE WAS USED AS SORBENT FOR ADSORPTION AND REMOVAL OF DBT IN THE DICHLOROBENZENE SOLUTION.CONCLUSION: THE OPTIMUM CONDITIONS FOR SYNTHESIS OF NI NANOPARTICLES WERE SUCH AS: 30 ML OF 0.15 M HYDRAZINE IN A MIXTURE SOLUTION OF 15 MM OF NI(NO3)2 AND APPROPRIATE AMOUNT OF NAOH AND THE BEST NI/ PVA NANO-COMPOSITE WAS PREPARED IN AN AQUEOUS SOLUTION OF 0.8 G PVA AND 20 MG NI NANOPARTICLES. NI/PVA NANO-COMPOSITE WAS SHOWED POTENTIAL APPLICATION FOR SORPTION AND REMOVAL OF DBT IN DICHLOROBENZENE.
